Nice Touch on Cronkhite Gig Bags

I was fooling with my gig bag yesterday as I waited for someone and noticed a nice feature. The leather handles are backed with sewn-on nylon for double strength. Nice idea, and I'm not sure why I never noticed it before.

That is a nice touch. I've seen too many cases (pun not intended) where the handle is an unreinforced leather strap that after 10-20 years just degrades and eventually snaps.
