Hello everyone! My name is Ross and I currently play euphonium with the peninsula concert band in Newport News, Virginia. I am looking to sell my Wessex Sinfonico, which is in excellent condition. I bought it last June from Wessex direct from the factory.
It plays well. Great response on this instrument! I had the valves professionally lapped, and the 4th valve clamp was shrink wrapped so its not metal on metal contact. There is a slight blemish on the 4th valve slide, also had a slight wrinkle in the bell due to shipping. Had that issue addressed by repairman (its barely noticeable now). Has 3 interchangeable lead pipes (small shank, medium shank, and large shank), polishing cloth, valve guides, and valve springs from Wessex. I also included some Yamaha valve springs (4). This horn came with an extended main tuning slide which was shipped with the instrument (it was never used).
I bought this horn for $3,500.
