schreiber keilwerth york tenor horn age

I know this isn't the forum for it, but so many of us have talked about the Besson English/German Euph transition I thought this might be a good place for this question. I recently purchased a Schreiber-Keilworth York Preference 3049 Tenor Horn for my band and I'd like to know when it was manufactured. Are there any records of this version of York serial numbers? I found a "themouthpiece" post referencing a York Preference 3049 with a serial number only a few hundred above mine, and it listed a purchase date of 2012. That helps a bit but still doesn't tell me when it was manufactured. It may be that our tenor horn player would like the 3050 trigger added to this horn - so a secondary question would be, does anyone know if the current Besson Prestige Tenor Horn trigger can be added to this York?

    Thanks!

schreiber-keilwerth went bankrupt in 2010 and was acquired by buffet crampon who discontinued the York line that year, so that would be the latest it could possibly be. One purchased in 2012 would have been new old stock.

the trigger on the 3050 worked a lot differently than the prestige trigger mechanism, I’m not sure that it won’t work regardless but I’m not sure. I’d suggest that a good tech could fabricate one from scratch that works better anyways.
