Thread: New Adams E2 (second time is the charm)

  1. New Adams E2 (second time is the charm)

My new Adams E2 has arrived and this is the one time in my life where I will have 3 of my own Euphoniums under the same roof! The horn on the left is my previous horn (a phenomenal Besson Prestige 2052). The horn on the right is the E2 I purchased at ITEC (unfortunately was in a car wreck with it 3 days after purchase, but insurance came to the rescue). The horn in the middle is the E2 that just arrived that is the exact same specs as the previous one (gold brass, sterling silver leadpipe) just with the brushed finish as opposed to the antique and it plays like a dream! The E2 was the perfect pick for me because I value a dark, expansive sound as much as anything and was tired of fighting the intonation of the Besson! The Prestige will be completely gone through and then be available for sale! (Please let me know if the picture doesn’t work)

If I were to EVER switch from my 967, the E2 fascinates me. I'm a Brass Band girl and this is the sound I love to emulate.
