    Boosey and Hawkes Euphonium

I have a Boosey and Hawkes Euphonium, but I can't seem to figure out the date when made. The Serial number is 765-682932 - I also have a Silver Besson Euphonium I bought new in 1976 ( how the years go by). I'm thinking of selling the Boosey and Hawkes but have no idea what it is worth. It plays well and is in nice shape so I hope to find a new player. I think it might be from the 60's - does this sound about right?

  2. Serial numner 682932 is 1982-83. The 765 is the model number. Pictures would help in getting some feedback on comparables from those on the forum who might have additional constructive feedback. A model 765 was a non compensating 4 valve euphonium. In the early 1980's it may well have been made using in England, though later these were manufactured in India AFAIK.
