Some folks have expressed concern about the double-strap design, figuring that one of the straps would do most of the work, and that it might not be strong enough. Valerie put this on her Facebook page. She hung 2 gallons of water by the double strap, and then hung them on a single strap from the double design. FYI, 2 gallons of water weigh about 16.6 pounds. My Adams with the sterling silver bell is 10.5 pounds. Photos below.

Well that certainly seems conclusive. What a way to show customers that their concerns are addressed. Now I know what I am going to buy whenever I need a horn strap.
