Thread: Old Willson euphonium ID help

  1. Old Willson euphonium ID help

    Hello everyone

I purchased an old Willson euphonium at an auction on a whim some time ago. I contacted Willson themselves to hear if they could help me identifying it, but they could not say anything other than that it was an old instrument (50+ years). I was hoping maybe some of you in here would know something about it?

    The serial number is 7766.

    Thanks!

That is a non-compensating euphonium. Willson still makes a 4-valve (with left-hand 4th valve) non-comp, I believe, so I assume the model # would be the same.
