    4th valve heavy bottom caps?

I was looking at peoples euphoniums on the forum and noticed that they had a heavy 4th bottom valve cap...

I was looking at Doug Ruby's recent post of his pictures of his new sterling and his besson prestige...

I was wondering where you can buy a 4th heavy valve cap for a besson prestige and how much it would cost?

Also does it make a difference in sound projection/quality? is it necessary to get it on all the valves if they do what they say they do?

    Hi James,

Not sure where to get one for your Prestige, but did you read this discussion thread:

    Heavy Valve Caps for Euphonium

I'm still using the one I added myself and it's working pretty well.
