Jim Shearer - Memphis Hang, an album of great tuba jazz. Jim plays a nice solo on the 50's hit Secret Love, and even forms a tuba quartet (with over-dubbing). Songs include Well You Needn't, Seduced, Mound Bayou, That Note Costs a Dollar, Can't Take You Nowhere, Not When I've Been Drinkin', Blue Turning Gray Over You, The Memphis Hang, Goodbye Porkpie Hat, and Cool.

Dave Gannett - Tubas From Hell. A great, jazzy recording with a wonderful cover photo! Songs include 'Deed I Do, Keepin' Out of Mischief Now, On the Sunny Side of the Street, Tangerine, Tubas in the Moonlight, Sugar, Pennies from Heaven, Tom Traubert's Blues, Yakkety Tuba, and others.
Floyd Cooley - The Romantic Tuba. Beautiful playing by one of the most lyrical tuba artists. Titles include the Bach Sonata for Flute in E-Flat Major, Four Serious Songs (Vier ernste Gesange) by Brahms, Trigon by Earl Zindars, and Suite Concertante for Tuba & Wind Quintet by Armand Russell.
Floyd Cooley - Friends in Low Places, with the DePaul University Wind Ensemble. Floyd plays the Ralph Vaughan Williams Tuba Concerto, Concerto for Bass Trombone and Orchestra by Eric Ewazen, Concerto for Tuba by Edward Gregson, and Concerto No. 1 for Horn in E-Flat by Richard Strauss.

Jose Davila on Up Popped Two Lips - Jose is featured on bass lines and solos on Henry Threadgill all-acoustic Zooid sextet album Up Popped Two Lips. Unusual music! Jose is featured on Around My Goose in a cadenza featuring half-valve and multiphonics. He is also a soloist on Do the Needful.

 Tuba with Band

John Fletcher - John plays the Concerto for Tuba and Band by Edward Gregson with Besses O' the Barn Brass Band. One of the few recordings of this fine piece by one of the best tuba players ever.
Pat Sheridan - Blazing Brass CD - Pat performs several solos with the very fine New York Staff Band of the Salvation Army (brass band). Tuba solos include Grandfather's Clock, the Ellerby Tuba Concerto, Badinage, Arban's Variations on A Tyrolean Song, and Stars and Stripes Forever with Pat playing the piccolo solo.
 Tuba with Orchestra

Arnold Jacobs - Tuba - Hear the master play the Ralph Vaughan-Williams Concerto for Tuba with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. The disc also includes the Mozart Bassoon Concerto and the Konzertstuck for Four Horns and Orchestra by Schumann.
John Fletcher - Tuba - Hear the legendary John Fletcher playing the Vaughan-Williams Concerto for Tuba, with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Andre Previn.
John Williams Tuba Concerto - Played by Marc Easener, with the Foundation Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by David Snell. Rare recording of the Williams Concerto.
Patrick Harrild - Tuba - Playing the Vaughan-Williams Tuba Concerto with the London Symphony. Conducted by Bryden Thomson. The CD also includes the Vaughan-Williams Symphony No. 6 in E minor.
