Premiere of the version for two Tubas, string quartet, and contrabass, performed at St. Botolph Club, Boston, MA, on May 9, 2007. [The world premiere of the concerto for two tubas and chamber orchestra took place in Faneuil Hall, Boston, on March 18, 2007, with the Boston Classical Orchestra, Stephen Lipsitt, conductor, who commissioned the work.]
