FS: Willson 2960 with UK leadpipe

    Selling my 2960.

I had the standard leadpipe replaced with the UK leadpipe - so you can see where the brace had to be moved. Otherwise in perfect condition.

$5000 plus shipping. Buyer pays paypal fees as applicable.

I will include the original leadpipe as well.

Wow, I wish I could justify buying this, looks like a great deal! I've been interested in trying out the UK model for awhile.

What does the UK leadpipe change in the way it plays? I briefly tried a 2960 at the last ITEC, though I don't remember much aside from it being rather heavy.

Also, how is the trigger? I remember reading in a previous thread you mentioned it can be a bit tricky to use because of how it's designed.

The lead pipe is curved slightly differently and adds a little more resistance to my feel.

The trigger mechanism can be fiddly if you don't regularly lubricate it - if you do, it's fine. For my money, nobody makes a better trigger mechanism than besson.

Thank you for that info! I've been considering getting a trigger fitted to my 2900, so this was helpful to hear.
