FS: UPDATE: BID AUCTION - York 3-Valve Euphonium in Satin Silver - Nice Condition

This is estimated to have been made in 1920 and has slides to adjust from high pitch to low pitch. The horn is in great shape from what I can see and it's rather beautiful looking. It has gold wash inside the bell. Hard case is included and looks serviceable given its age. Proceeds from the sale benefit the River City Youth Band, a 501(c)(3). Starting bid is $199. (Many more photos on the listing.) (UPDATED now with new URL. He has it set now as a bid-only auction starting at 199)

    SOLD FOR $207.49

A nice match for my York Bb tenor, so I made an offer.

Nope, didn't fly. Very close, tho.

I wonder why folks have a make offer deal and then reject anything just shy of their buy-it-now price.

Perhaps the seller was unclear how to list it effectively. There is no buy-it-now price in the new listing.

I just posted my first listing on ebay you have to opt in to be able to accept offers & enter the dollar amount separately.

If this amount is the same as your listing amount then there's no point in completing this step.
