Thumbs up For sale: Wessex tornister "baby euph" maly

I've had this neat little euph for a couple years now, time to thin the herd.

No noticeable wear or damage, everything is solid and plays well. Red brass bell.

Comes with original hard case and MP, takes a large shank. Also a padded neck strap.

It is a hit at Tuba Christmas and parades.

$700 + shipping wherever you live.

    Thanks so much! Dennis

Those are so cool. That WOULD be a fun toy to bust out for Tuba Christmas. (Maybe not quite as fun as a double bell. )

How would you characterize the playability and overall sound?

The valves being rotary are very fast, takes a bit to get used to. It is pretty light.

The bell being so close to your ear makes sure you can control pitch...

Most euph players give it a quick look, then ratchet right back once the real size dawns on them.

I've seen plenty DB's at TC, never seen another Maly anywhere.

I just listed my York Tenor horn, too. When it craws thru the system you can see as well.

Oh, thank goodness. My wallet has been twitching ever since this was posted, and I need someone to buy it before I do something matrimonially inadvisable. I can't justify that tone in anything I play, but it's such a fun and nifty novelty!
