Anyone going?

I'm in DC for training this week. I plan to attend the Wednesday evening concert and check out the exhibit hall Friday afternoon.

Anyone know which vendors will have booths at this event?

Applied for a base pass and this is the picture that was on the pass they sent me. (I'm not exactly sure where that picture came from...it is at least 20 years old. LOL)

Will probably be there sometime between 1 and 2pm today (Friday, 3 Feb 2023) to check out the vendors…and sticking around through the evening concert.


Need to grab a coat on the way…as the Uber can only drop me off at the gate and I’ll have to walk a fair ways to get to the venue.

Swinging by “Burlington Coat Factory” on the way…as it is going to be a cold walk from the gate to the venue (ESPECIALLY, in the evening in the way back!).

Just stopped by briefly by the exhibit hall before heading to the bowling center to get some food.

Dillion’s has a pretty big presence at the exhibit hall. Will take more pics when I head back over..

They (Dillon’s) have a cool, used Hirsbrunner euphonium that I quite enjoyed.

Leaving now. Thought about staying for the concert and seeing Mrs. Mead play…but I have to head to the airport at 0300.


Think I may plan to hit this event next year (bring my horn and fully participate). That would be fun!
