I wrote this when I was 18... I guess some things never change. LOL.

In my archive of music I've hidden away, I pull out this gem. 32 years later it's still relevant.

You get the “aren’t you cute” award.

I may act like I never grew up but my body sure as hell has.

The more I read this the more I find things to enjoy!

I love the kind of 1990s Letterman-style top ten list vibe. I strongly associate that whole "Chicks dig the blank" idiom with growing up in the 90s. In trying to find the origins of that phrase just now I came across a 1995 article from the Baltimore Sun discussing the resurgence of the word "Chick", so looks like you were a few years ahead of the curve .

And I also love that 32 years later, your fervent dislike of the french horn is still going strong!

Thanks for sharing all of these musical memories. For reference, when you wrote this list I was 5 or 6 years old and still 6 years away from blowing my first notes on a baritone in the middle school band.
        1976 Besson 3-valve New Standard, DE102/I/I8
        1969 Conn 88H, Schilke 51

Exactly. Back then, was a huge Letterman fan. I’m college, my roommate and I would wait until 12:30am to see him every night.
