While no one can guarantee someone will never have a problem with a horn down the road. I think it has been identified that this is, in fact, a valid custom configuration that has come out of Adams. So, should be no issues with future repairs if they are needed.

Get the Adams. An E1 with those specs/customizations will be a fantastic horn.

Furthermore, the sterling silver bell option on E1 is worth $1290 in the US, and that's on top of all other customizations on this horn.

In case anyone is interested, this is the full translation of the specification document:
Serial Number: 46339 | Model: E1
Production Date: 3rd of July 2012 | Name builder: "T.C."

Bell: Sterling Silver, 0.60mm gauge
Bell rim: 'Ring' (I assume this means just a 'rolled rim'? since there's also a 'soldered' and 'soldered ring' option I assume this means the wire in the edge of the bell or something like that?)
Model: 2-part | Bell size: 305mm

Then two parts both made from 0.60mm gauge gold brass (I can't even place the Dutch terms as instrument parts so no clue what they are)

Hand-shaped parts made from sheet yellow brass, 0.60mm gauge.

Valve cluster: Bauerfeind, yellow brass.
Valve slides: Adams, inner- and outer slides both nickel silver.

Leadpipe: Yellow brass, 0.60mm, 'sheet' model (as opposed to 'tube' model?).
Receiver: Adjustable Gap Receiver, nickel silver.

Main tuning slide: Red brass, 'sheet' model (as opposed to 'tube' model again), 0.55mm gauge.
'Calibrated': Yes

Trigger: Not too sure what to make of it, all options were crossed out but main tuning slide was circled as well?
Finish: Laquered | Brushed, mirror-finish.

This sounds like a truly fascinating hooter. Since I have had my E2 and got used to it, I have wondered whether a banjo with the heavy valve block and bottom bow might not benefit from a thinner bell for extra resonance. I’m certain I would enjoy testing that one!

If you’ve not decided to buy it already, given the options, if I was in your situation I’d have already bought it.

The only problem with these discussion is they get me thinking about what my next hooter will be. The only thing I know for certain is it will be an Adams.

I bought it today, now i am waiting for it to come
