I don’t have a clue what this video purports to show but these are the buttons Adams sent me.

The finger buttons look wrong for that model horn. They should not hit the valve cap rim but seat against the felt. If you pull out the compensating slide on the back of the first valve, look to see if the port aligns when the first valve is pressed down all the way. I’m guessing it won’t line up.

Definitely looks like they sent me the wrong finger buttons.

Doubly irritating considering how long they took to arrive and the fact that I sent them on to the new owner of the horn (who was really looking forward to them).

Ask Adams if they can ship the correct caps via expedited shipping.

These are the heavy duty buttons for the E2 model that match the heavy duty caps. I don't know if the heavy caps from the E2 can be put on the E3. If this were the case, you could order a set in order to have the possibility of having a light and a heavy set so as to have a different response from the instrument: whether it is better or worse is to be experimented.

The horn already has a 4th valve ABC. I'd rather just get the right finger buttons. Only matters to me really because I've paid for them...I sold the horn and will be passing the finger buttons on to the new owner.
