Song for Ina - Philip Sparke

One of my favorite slow melodies to play or listen to has long-been "Song for Ina" by Philip Sparke. It was commissioned by Riki McDonnell for Ina Williams (unfortunately Riki passed away in 2018 from cancer). Yesterday I stumbled on a YouTube recording of that beautiful piece. As I was listening to it I was pretty sure this was Riki McDonnell on that YouTube link. Sure enough, after getting out the three CDs I have of Riki's I found that track on 'Midnight Euphonium'. Listening to it the tempo and phrasing were identical. In fact the same two measures were omitted in the quasi cadenza as it is on the CD. You can get "Song for Ina" with piano accompaniment on Steven Mead's website and also here in the USA at Sheetmusicplus. The one here in the US may take awhile if it's not in stock.

More to keep Mr. Mead busy (as this prompted another purchase from his store).
I seem to have been ordering more than I initially realized from him...
