Hello Mitch. Austin Custom Brass will be releasing a new line of Euphonium mouthpieces by the end of the year! I am really excited about them. I liked Euphonium 1 and 2 the best. Euphonium 3 was a little too big for me. I tested them out on an Adams A1. They will be available in large shank and in Euro-shank. We hope to have them to premiere at Midwest Clinic in Chicago this year.
Depending on what kind of setup you have with it, I use the Mercer and Bark MB3-ET. It fits really well into the receiver and I love the sound it has through my Adam’s!

When I played the E1 I think I used my Wick SM4U most of the time.

For me, going to stainless steel was a huge improvement. I've tried a few from the Giddings line, going small to large: Kadja, GW-102, GW-103, and Carbonaria. They are all great, but the 102 works best for me.
