Today Sherry Linnerooth from Eckroth Music presented me with the gift of a new Eastman EEP526s euphonium…on behalf of Eastman.

Music has been an integral part of my recovery journey. I am humbled and truly grateful to be on the receiving end of such kindness!

Congratulations, Larry. I looked up the specs on that Eastman euphonium - that's quite a large bore. I'm looking forward to your description and comparison to your Shires euphonium.

Same bore size(s) as the M5050. But definitely a lighter horn (thinner metal).

Well, I attended this event this past weekend. You can see the entire concert in the link below. I'm the old(-ish) guy. LOL

    Thanks for sharing Larry.

I guess I hadn't noticed before that your were located in the Minot, ND area. A tidbit of info you might get a chuckle out of, one of of my assignments while in the Air Force back in the '68-69, I was stationed 1 year at Sondrestrom, Greenland Air Base. A co-worker of mine got a new assignment out of Greenland to Minot, AFB ND. He sent me a postcard and said it was actually colder in Minot than it was in Greenland. I found that hard to believe cause I remember -38 F with chill factor of -77. Sure hope it's not that cold now.
