            My Q40 (also purchased as a demo from Dillon) has the same issue as Steve's: my Wick SM4 "bottoms out" and hits the end of the leadpipe (the included Shires mouthpiece, and other large shank pieces, don't do this). I inquired of Shires and indeed they won't install or sell the threaded receiver setup. For now I am using a couple of turns of Teflon tape (and I love the horn).
            I don't know if Q41's are differently dimensioned at the receiver.
