    Head restraints for w.w. players?

    I'm sure what I see in the video linked below are not head restraints for some of the woodwind players but a way to muffle the sound of the brass players behind them. I'm used to seeing Plexiglass of some sort but never a 'head rest' of sort. I think I might want to take a nap if I had one of these. The video is of the Swedish Navy Corps Band playing a Christmas concert.

  3. Or how about this guy (on the right) at 16:46. He's all zenned out. No neck restraint/emotive inhibitor.
