    The horn looks like it's in very good condition. Valves are good for its age and seller says they have good compression (I can believe it based on the photos). A hard case is shown in the photos. Starting bid is $999. (If it were me, I would try to high-ball him a bit in the upper teens and see if you can preempt a long bidding process!)

    Thanks, Doug! Apparently the previous sale fell through. The previous winning bid was about $1500 unless eBay got it wrong, so that might be a guide to what the seller might accept!
