To boldly go where no euphonium should go. Maybe. I have expressed that I'm not sure the Bach cello suites are the best pieces for a euphonium performance, even though they are great for practice! In this demonstration at Tenn Tech, I performed the first movement of the tuba concerto to show it can be played on euphonium. I'm not sure it isn't in the same category as the cello suites, but I wanted to show it can at least be negotiated on euphonium. This was on my Sovereign, which had a stuffy low register, and I had trouble with the piano being too present, but here is the result. Maybe I should try it on my Adams, which would give me a better shot.
