Holst 2nd Suite in F - Coast Guard Band from 1972

I just rescued this recording from a failing reel-to-reel tape. This is the Coast Guard Band in 1972, and I had been in only a couple years at that point. The solo part came off pretty well, I think. I'm using a Besson New Standard with a Bach 6-1/2AL mouthpiece (using the adaptor to get from tenor trombone mouthpiece to fit the European receiver).

Might be 50 years ago but still sounds good! The tone is a bit brighter with a .580 bore horn and a 6.5AL mpc but still good. Reel to reel tape recorders bring back some fond memories.
