Thumbs up FS: Really Nice Besson New Standard Euphonium in Satin Silver

This one is in fine shape with good plating. Seller says compression is good. I'm just not seeing much denting anywhere, including on the small tubes on the front of the valve where denting is common (and probably hard to remove). Hard case is included. DON'T WAIT IF YOU WANT A NEW STANDARD. The price is $2,299.99

This example appears to have a large shank receiver. It looks original to the horn but it's tough to tell from the pictures. Seems like a really good price for a New Standard in this condition.

Besson New Standards made after 1974 came with a large mouthpiece receiver. Based on the 621682 serial number, this euphonium was made in 1977-1978 timeframe.
