Band or Orchestra Pieces that Require a Euphonium Mute

Use this thread to list the band/orchestra pieces that require a mute. If other than a straight mute, please specify the type!

I'll add to this list as we get more entries. When a category gets really long, I'll spilt it out to its own thread.

    • Schoenberg: Theme and Variations
    • Jan van Der roost: Dublin Dances
    • Itaru Sakai: The Seventh Night of July
    • Kevin Houben: Lake of the Moon (one passage with a straight mute and 2 or 3 with cup mute)

    BRASS BAND
    • (PLACEHOLDER)

    ORCHESTRA

    • Aho: Symphony Number 9

Band The Seventh Night of July by Itaru Sakai. It has a short muted section. Not worth the effort!
