Just picked up a Denis Wick straight mute for a good price, and I was wondering if there was a data base out there that called for use in A symphonic band setting? (not solo works)

Excellent question! I'm not aware of one, though. For that matter, I don't think there is such a database for tuba mute pieces or even trumpet mute pieces, is there?
