    Wessex Dolce Update

While I was at GPRTEC I took a couple minutes at the Wessex booth to re-acquaint myself with the Dolce. I started by just playing it, and I was impressed with how smoothly it played. Very comfortable for the person blowing into it, and the sound output was also quite nice. When I looked at it, I noticed a change from previous examples. The leadpipe is now floated and is made of nickel-silver. I'm not sure how much that contributed to the nice playing feel, but I thought I would mention it. The Dolce remains a good choice among start comp horns, along with the ACB Doubler.

Nice to know they are still making such nice horns.
