Tuba & Euphonium Day at Paige's Music March 12, 2022

My shop, Paige's Music in Indianapolis, is holding its first annual Tuba & Euphonium Day this Saturday, sponsored by Eastman/Shires. We have two guests for this event - Hiram Diaz and Chris Olka - who will be in the shop all day to help people test horns, talk shop, and give a master class! I have four different models of euphoniums from Shires (Bravo, Q41, Q40, and SOLO) for testing, as well as a couple Yamaha Neo's (642 and 642TS), several different Tubas from Eastman, and a full line of Laskey tuba mouthpieces (in addition to my regular stock of trombone, euphonium, and tuba mpcs).

The one-sheet for the event is attached to this post. Here's the link for the full day's schedule -

If you're looking to try out some horns, or just want to meet our guest artists, it'll be a really fun day!

Hello Sean, this event sounds very exciting.... I wish I could attend.... But alas, it is not in the cards at this time *Sighs!*

I am very keen on the Shires euphos, and in particular in exploring the tonal characteristics and differences between Q40 and the new Solo.... Any chance of Hiram or yourself recording a good clip featuring the four Shires euphonium offerings?

BTW, I tried to ring you at the store a couple times.... Hope better luck next time around.

    Regards, Guido
