    University of Texas Tuba/Euphonium studio

    Hi all.

I’m new to the forum. After 38 years away from playing, I have picked up a horn again and am re-learning how to play. I ran across this incredible video in my search of the euphonium world on YouTube. I didn’t see it posted here and thought it was worth sharing. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, I can’t count how many times I’ve watched it and more importantly, listened to it. Incredible job by those guy.

I had heard that some years ago, and you are correct - it is terrific!

(I am moving the post to a different category. The "Live Recording" category is really about techniques/equipment to record yourself or your ensemble.)

Thanks for reminding me of this. I have a group on Facebook called "Euphonium Videos" and I just added it as a fine example of a euphonium-tuba ensemble and arrangement.

We played that same arrangement in a mass ensemble (about 90 horns on stage) at IET in 2017. I have the video somewhere . . .
