  1. Could anyone help me identify this euphonium I just bought?

Hi all, I'm new to this forum as of a few minutes ago so bear with me as I learn how to use it. I recently purchased a secondhand euphonium on eBay as the listing said it was a Besson 967 Euphonium (I was under the impression it was a sovereign) and I felt like it was a really good price. The horn is here and I've been playing it for a few weeks and it plays great. The one concern I have is that the stamp with the Besson logo does not look like any of the ones I have seen online. I have seen a few like it on the Besson New Standard euphoniums but those all have the "New Standard" engraved underneath. I have attached some photos, and I would greatly appreciate if anyone could help me in identifying it.

Based upon the 671067 serial number and bell stamp, the euphonium appears to be a 1981 Model 767. Here is a related thread - on this exact same horn - including discussion of Besson’s transition from the New Standard to the Sovereign-

This link provides cross references of serial numbers to year of manufacture (refer to Page 23 of 23)-
