FS: Hirsbrunner NON-Compensating Euphonium for Excellent Price

This is coming from the Netherlands, but shipping is free. The horn is in very nice shape from what I can see, and the buy-it-now price is $$3,250. That is a good price for a Hirsbrunner!

    SOLD FOR $3,600!

Unless I'm mistaken, I don't see any of the extra compensating tubing that's part of the 378 and 479 models, so I think this is a non-compensating euph (not sure of the model #, as the Hirsbrunner website only lists the 378 and 479.)

That being said, given it's a Hirsbrunner, I'm sure it's still a fantastic instrument!

Definitely not an HBS 479. This is functionally equivalent to Yamaha YEP-621 (non comp 3+1 valve).

Thanks, folks! I was on my way out the door when I saw this, so I hurried to enter it. Not sure I've ever seen a non-comp Hirsbrunner, so I missed that. The title and my assessment of the price have both been corrected.

I owned one of these briefly. If you're looking for a non-compensating euphonium this is about the best one you can get. these non-compensators share the same bell and bows from the 378 model and are constructed with the same legendary craftsmanship as their higher-end offerings. Silverplating on Hirsbrunners is also extremely thick. This one comes with its original case which is indestructible but a workout to carry around.
