  2. That looks more like an Eb Tuba. The valve slides are too long to be euphonium.

    Looks like H. N. White did make a saxhorn-style top action euphonium at one point. I'm guessing the e-bay listing was for the 4-valve version. I think I've seen one or two for sale before. Picture is from hnwhite.com. I couldn't find a similarly-styled Eb tuba. At any rate, I hope the buyer obtained what he wanted. I looked like a nice restoration.
