    New Setup for Mouthpiece Test

I'm working on a video comparing a Wick 4AL, and Alliance DC3, and an Alliance DC4. My home tests are done with the mic within a foot of the bell's edge, and that can show some factors. But what I really care about, especially in my current switching, is how well the thing can take its sound out to the audience.

So this time I recorded with my good mic well back in the sanctuary. Attached is a photo showing the players-eye-view of the room and setup, with my recording mic circled in red. (We are still not doing live services indoors, so the sanctuary is not very well organized right now). And my bell is turned to the side, so probably 80 degrees off axis, which is how I usually play for a congregation. In a week or so I should have the video put together.

That will be very interesting; what type of mic is your "good one"?

It is the older version of the mic I talk about here:

Thanks! I have the USB version of the AT2020 (not stereo). I haven't figured out the best setup yet.
