Thread: Euphonium stands

  1. Euphonium stands

I need one or two euphonium stands. I have I think 7 trombones around the house on stands, but my euphoniums and tuba are all on the floor. Is there a good source maybe for used stuff in not bad condition?

I am wondering if anyone has tried using the K&M Baritone, Tenor Horn stand (149/2) for a Euphonium such as the Shires Q40? It looks easier to use than the regular K&M Euphonium stand.

No. In fact, I just got a K&M euph stand and it's great. I just posted about it. It holds my baritone nicely... It gives off the appearance that it's difficult to use, but it's further from the truth.

I will also HIGHLY recommend the Hercules French Horn stand for the euphonium. Doesn't work for Baritone.

I use a K&M stand as well (14941). Sturdy, stable, adjustable. Works great.

I have a couple of the “full size” Hercules euphonium stands and just bought the French horn stand recently to have something small to use (and it works great.)

For home use (if you don't have kids or pets), most guitar (or lute) stands will do just fine. I do have a K&M euph stand as well though.
