Thanks, Rick. That is very well done!

I saw it on my Facebook feed, but nowhere else. How did you come across it? (Just curious)

Thanks for posting, Rick! Very nice!! Being the son of a West Pointer and career soldier, and being a career Army soldier myself, this day has a very special meaning to me. I hope this day will always continue to resonate with Americans everywhere and always remain as a very special day of remembrance.

I’ve subscribe to the Marine Band YouTube channel (by just clicking the icon there) so anytime there’s something new on their channel I get a pop-up when I launch my browser.

  5. I'm very grateful for our country's soldiers, policeman, and first responders. Thank you for your service to our country.
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4

And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 1 John 4:16

Taps Across America. Done by an amateur. Hats off to the many participants in this forum who can really play this horn.

Good for you, Dean!! I am grateful to you for playing Taps. I will be playing Taps again, and this is also my second year of participating in Taps Across America, to honor those who gave thier lives for this great country of ours. Last year I played from my front porch, this year will be from my back porch. I see quite a few neighbors out and about in their yards and such, so hopefully there will be a small audience to hear and remember our fallen heros.
