"Fantasia di Concerto" (Boccalari) Bb score

    Dear forum members,

Although this piece is extremely difficult and certainly not fit for me to play (yet ), I would be interested in obtaining the Bb score of it, so at least I can read the notes as fast as they are to be played...

I do own a 1948 version in C for solo baritone (arranged by Kent-Akers), but on sight reading/transposing this piece from C to Bb is just not doable for me, let alone start practicing it.

Could a forum member give me some directions where the Bb score (euphonium part only) is available/for sale (preferably downloadable), either in treble clef or bass clef?

    Many thanks!

    Dieter

  2. There are two editions available through Cimarron Music, both with options for PDF download: (both are for euphonium & piano)

    The original edition: https://www.cimarronmusic.com/fantasiadiconcerto

Version arranged/edited by Bryan Doughty (as I understand it, this is an update to the original to correct some inconsistencies): https://www.cimarronmusic.com/fantasiadiconcertodoughty

The Doughty version includes both treble clef and bass clef solo parts. The original version *may* have a solo part in treble clef? Though I'm not entirely sure based on the description. Dave Werden or anyone who owns this edition may be able to confirm this.
    Willson 2900 TA-1 Euphonium - Denis Wick 4AM

    Yamaha YSL-8440 Trombone - Denis Wick 5BS
VMI 3301S BBb Tuba - Schilke Helleberg

I was able to purchase and download the latest version in treble clef, for euphonium (so in Bb tuning). Many thanks!
