    Gettysburg (1993)

When Gen. Lee and his army are marching into Cashtown, there's a band playing Dixie with the marching troops, and includes a very familiar looking instrument (along with some really neat old-school brass instruments)

Neat picture. Looks like some over-the-shoulder saxhorns.

It's in the tuba range, but wow, Wessex really makes everything, even an over-the-shoulder saxhorn (which looks beautiful):

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 1 Corinthians 13:4

And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 1 John 4:16

I live near Gettysburg and actually know and play with several people who were in that band for the movie. They are all part of a civil war reenactment band in the area: https://www.facebook.com/federalcitybrassband

Scratch that... I posted too soon. The band I am referring to was in the movie Lincoln (2012) and I don't think they were ever pictured on camera. Just played music in the background. Sorry for the mis-information...
