Looks nice, I thought I'd post it in case someone was looking.

Since I'm not knowledgeable about this, what are people's opinion on this one? What is a good price for this?
A. looks great
B. Reputable seller
C. S/N makes this a 1970. Excellent vintage. Desirable medium shank
D. Unknown valve condition

Can you please explain why the medium shank is desired?
Here's what the listing says about the valves:
About This Listing
Used Boosey & Hawkes Imperial euphonium (SN:489859) in satin silver with hard-shell case. 11" upright bell and 3+1 compensating pistons of .580/.650" bore. Takes medium shank mouthpiece. Minor dings and scratches as can be expected. You can still see where a bell crease was once rolled out. No pitting in the pistons but the 4th piston was replaced with a newer version that has the black disck shaped guide.
I always liked the medium shank Besson/Boosey&Hawkes Imperials. Their intonation was better than the Sovereign. Once Besson quit making this horn, it created a market for the Willson 2900, first in the military bands then around the world. The smaller of the Shires horns (Q40M?) mimics this with a medium shank and an 11 and something inch bell.

Here is a thread which also addresses the medium (euro) shank Besson-

Just realized I spelled Hawkes wrong in the title...bah.
Thanks for all the info, it's very interesting.
Sorry, when you mention "round stamp" could you explain what that means? I'm having trouble parsing that from the posts.
