    Dennis Askew - RIP

Dennis Askew professor at UNC at Greensboro suddenly passed away at age 56. He was an excellent tuba and euphonium instructor at UNC Greensboro and was very active in ITEA. He also played tuba with the BBBC (Brass Band of Battle Creek). I had the pleasure of meeting him at ITEC at Greensboro in 2002. May he rest in peace.

Thanks for passing that along, Rick. Dennis was a very nice guy in my experience and a good administrator.
