Thread: Best Polish For Yamaha Brass Instrument

  1. Best Polish For Yamaha Brass Instrument

Title is pretty self explanatory, just wondering what polish I should get that would work best for my Yamaha Horn. It’s not silver plated or anything, just the standard finish. Thanks

  2. Lemon Pledge is what I use for lacquered horns. Spray and wipe with lint free cloth (or well worn old T-shirt.) Cleans water spots and dust and leaves a very nice finish. Then keep wiping down your horn with clean soft cloth until the next time.

I actually purchased lacquer polish from a local music store. It works nicely, but I can't see that it is doing anything Pledge doesn't, and of course it costs more.
