Hello everyone,
Does anyone have any experience with the Wedge 103E or 104E second generation Mouthpiece? I was hoping to get some thoughts and opinions and hopefully some pictures?
Best Wishes,

Yes, I have one and have used it on my Yamaha 642 NEO. Since both the Neo and the Wedge had design input from the same person, I'd assume a good fit, and I was right. It is a good fit to the Neo. I haven't tried it really in any other instrument.
Having said that, I just had two surgeries on my sinuses, and now a Wick 4 FEELS more comfortable on the Neo post surgery...
Any specific questions you may have, I'll be glad to answer to the best of my ability.

Hello Jim,
Thank you so much. I have been in contact with Steven Walsh but I was hoping to try and get a few pictures of this mouthpiece to see how it was different to my SM4XR Mouthpiece.
Thank you so much for your help.

I can send you some pictures if he doesn't--Steven Walsh left Yamaha, right?

Hello Jim,
Yes, Steven Walsh has left Yamaha although I believe he is currently testing and exploring other instrument brands. It would be great to see any pictures that you have.

Hello Jim,
Thank you so much for doing this for me, it is really amazing to see the differences in mouthpieces. I think I will have to explore this mouthpiece a little further.

Hi Micah,
One thing to keep in mind is that the Wedge mouthpiece is the advertised rim size is the vertical rim measurement. The horizontal measurement (i.e, in line with the lips) is smaller. I have a 103 size and it feels much smaller than a Wick 4. If you have looked at the Wedge website, this in in line with their philosophy of that most players use mouthpieces that are too wide and shallow, and benefit from deeper, narrower cups.
