    Simone Mantia SHREDDING!!

I saw this video randomly through Facebook. The whole thing is worth a watch, but at 2:45 you can see footage of Simone Mantia himself ripping. I suddenly feel the urge to buy a Conn instrument or two.

Touches two of my favorite things: Radio & euphonium.

Hard to tell if Mantia used the whisper bell at all.

Based on his hand position, I'd say not. I was guessing they were all lip syncing but I could not swear to it. In any case, I suspect if Conn wanted him to use the little bell it would have been in such a way as to be obvious.

The tubist is announced correctly as Fred Pfaff, a true legend. The written ID at the beginning is incorrect.
I had the pleasure to meet Fred in Florida, when he was in his 80's or perhaps even 90's, and had JUST quit the
Florida symphony, replaced by my NJ friend, the late Lee Richardson.
