Willson 2960 TA UK vs non-UK version

I'm curious whether anyone has been able to side-by-side compare the UK with non-UK version of the Willson 2950 or 2960.

As I understand it, the only difference is the lead pipe, with the UK version leaning even more toward a traditional "brass band" sound.

Any info any of you have would be great!
