ADAMS E1 SS Selected vs Yamaha YEP-842ST Custom

Nearing purchase decision between these two. Haven't play tested either one but did watch several times the recent Matonizz comparison between the YEP-842ST and YEP-642 Neo. I did own for a while a 642 more than a decade ago. I remember liking it. For hearing the E1 SS played, I've listened to Matt Troppman who I believe is playing one on the youtube video of Cascade from 2014. Also listened to Brian Wilson on some of his posted videos playing the E1 on all-state student etudes. For the 842, I have enjoyed Helene Escrivas postings on youtube. But of course, while the instrument plays a part, the artist provides the substance of the sound.

I'd love to hear from those of you who've played each of these models what your list of pros and cons were. My playing environment will be largely community concert band and plying solos for myself as an audience of one. Also will be playing tuba euphonium quartets from time to time with mix of instrument models.

    Thanks in advance.
