This is finally live, so we can talk about it!

Earlier this year, the Indianapolis Brass Choir was approached by NFL films for a special project in Indy for which they needed a brass ensemble. It ended up being a docu-series called Peyton's Places, where Peyton Manning goes around the country and explores the past 100 years of football. For this particular segment, Peyton spoke with Colts kicker (and all-time NFL high scorer) Adam Vinatieri about his great-great-grandfather, Felix, who was the bandmaster of General Custer during the Civil War.

Members of the IBC, including myself and our friend Jim Williams (Snorlax) performed some of Felix's marches for Adam on the Colts practice field, dressed in Civil War "costumes" (certainly not period-accurate uniforms by any stretch). I took a few screenshots (there's one really nice close-up of Jim, and one of my horn) and also some behind-the-scenes photos, attached here.

You can see the episode on ESPN+ if you want but it's a subscription site, so it's like 5 bucks. Overall a really cool experience!

Now that is just downright cool. Strikes close to home, also, as Adam Vinatieri went to high school in Rapid City, just down the road a few miles from where I live.

Wow, very nice! Also stared at the Geneva and Neo that both of you are holding for a while there.

Interesting Geneva finger buttons! Looks almost Adams like - do they not come with the inverted ones, or can you speak on how you came across these?
