Second opinion on diploma programme choices

Hi, I'm working on my ATCL Euph diploma and was wondering whether these pieces would form a balanced enough programme:

    Horovitz Concerto mvmt 1/2
    Vocalise arr Mead
    The Holy Well (Graham)
    Party Piece (sparke)
    Song for Ina (sparke)

    Thanks,
    Ben

That is a nice selection of pieces. A lot depends on your audience and on those evaluating you. Often, a Baroque- or classical-era piece is included in standard college recitals, but your situation may be different Another possibility is a warhorse piece, like Original Fantasy, from the early years of euphoniums soloing with popular bands.

But, again, there is nothing wrong with your list.

      Thank you very much Dave,
There is a list of pieces to choose from (first list in the link):

but you can request own choice pieces. Are there any on the list that you would recommend me having a look at?

Of course you want to choose music that excites you are that shows off your abilities.

But to suggest one from the traditional realm you might look at Rule Britannia by Hartman, a composer who wrote several solos that became staples of the cornet and euphonium rep. You could hear 3 different interpretation of this piece here, to give you some ideas/inspiration:
