Video: Building Strength and High Range

Regular readers here will probably find no surprises in this videos, but I demonstrate the techniques I have learned that build a secure high range. The goal is to get your air correctly engaged, so when you play high notes the horn is not just acting as a megaphone for your lips, but is actually resonating and locking into the partial series.

Nice video, thanks! I have been doing this for some time, based on your written description of the exercise. I have found it to be very helpful, but it is nice to actually see it demonstrated.

Well, I don't like to let time slip by. My accompanist has been out of town for a while, so...
