Thread: FS: Hirsbrunner Euphonium - bid starts at $3500 - 4 Valve - Silver?

Let me try to communicate with this guy; if he doesn't respond, I'm thinking he may have some kind of email delivery problem (just as some forum members have trouble signing up because they don't receive the confirmation link email from this software). If that seems to be the case, I'll let eBay know about it so they can try to help the guy.

The new price is in the bargain territory for HB euphonium, so I hate to see it "go to waste."

The seller responded. Here is his response and my reply to his response.

    Seller:

Hi David. Thank you for writing. I did receive a good number of emails from people that were very low and I did not respond. There is a minimum bid for a reason. If they can't hit that number, then there is no sense in proceeding. I apologize for not writing back to them, as I should have out of courtesy. I will do better. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
    Me:

I suggested to him that seeing a make-offer button could imply that a lower offer might be accepted. I told him that I typically see a make-offer button where there is also a buy-it-now button, rather than a bid button.

Someone finally jumped on this one. I hope it is a player who can appreciate this rare instrument.

That's got to be the bargain of the decade!

    I have a good friend selling a pristine 479 for $6k, so $3,500 is a steal!
